Homemade Play Dough

I have been posting WAY too much this week. I'm sure the next week or so will be slower. Anyway, I made some homemade play dough tonight for my little munchkin. Here is the recipe:

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons cream of tartar



Mix flour, salt and oil, and slowly add the water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until dough becomes stiff. Turn out onto wax paper and let cool. Knead the play dough with your hands until of proper consistency.

I added a packet of kool aid to give it a nice lemon lime scent, and added some green food coloring. It was a big hit with Dax.
