Dear Santa,

I wanted to write you a letter to let you know how great my christmas was! It all started with me waking up mom and dad excited to open gifts!

BUT mom and dad made me change my diaper first! I wasn't too happy about that.

I couldn't believe all of the gifts you left for me! I couldn't keep my hands off of the christmas tree!

After opening gifts with mom and dad we got ready to head over to grandma's house!

At grandma's I found even more gifts with my name on them. I couldn't believe it! Mom and dad even got a cool trailer for me to ride in behind their bikes!

Thank you santa for a great first christmas!

Love,
Daxton

Christmas with the Campbells

We had a blast visiting my parents in California this last week. Dax wasn't too interested in opening the gifts at our gift exchange. He was more interested in playing with the toys. We're glad to be home, and happy that Dax did so well on the long drive. Hope you all enjoy the pictures we got!

Let It Snow!

We have the pack and play set up by our bedroom window, and Dax just realized he can reach the blinds. We pulled them up, and he realized it was snowing outside. He couldn't stop staring. We tried everything to get him to look at the camera, but he wouldn't do it.

Fun Photo's

We got together at my in-law's and took some cute photo's of Dax with his cousin last night with my mother in law's new fancy camera. Just thought I'd put a few on her for you all to enjoy.

I Don't Need Help, I Can Do It Myself!

Dax just discovered that he can make the rocker move back and forth all by himself. He thinks it's hilarious. Hope you enjoy the photo's I snapped.

Cruisin'

Dax just figured out that he can make his little car move by pushing his legs on the ground. He doesn't always get it to go, but it's sure cute to watch him try.

Time for a Haircut

We decided to let Dax grow his hair out for the winter. I didn't realize that it was pretty curly. I let it get pretty long, but decided today it was time for it to be cut. Here are before and after pictures:

(Thanks Shawnee for helping me out with that)

And He's Off...

It seems like yesterday that Dax had just learned how to pull himself along just using his arms... Now he's mastered crawling on all 4's! It's only a matter of time before he learns to walk and destroy's everything in his path. :0)

A Day at the Gateway

Grandma and Grandpa Hallows took me and Daxton to the gateway yesterday. He had a good time, and it was a good opportunity for me to get some cute photo's with them and Dax. Unfortunately, Dax didn't want to have anything to do with the camera.

Meet the Newest Addition to Our Family

We got Dax a gold fish about a month ago. Apparently we were feeding it way too much and he trippled in size, so we had to get him a bigger tank. With all of the extra room we decided to get him another little fish. Dax just realized he can stand up and grab the tank, so I snapped a few photo's.

Mom, I Don't Like It...

We decided to let Dax have a little fun in the snow today. He decided he doesn't like it at all. It sure was cute to watch him figure it out though.

Rockstar in Training!

I know the quality of these photo's aren't as good, but we thought they were pretty cute. I was trying to get things together for my Scentsy party today, and found an easy way to entertain our little guy. He grabbed the spoon and pounded away on those pots. He's a natural.

We Have Teeth!

Dax is getting three more teeth! You can see one coming in on the bottom, and two that are almost through on the top! Crazy kid needs to stop growing! He is way too independent. I miss my cuddly baby!

Pumpkin Hunting

My friend Rachel and I took Dax out to a pumpkin patch today. He had a lot of fun, and even made some new friends. He was really excited to pick out his pumpkin! We got to hitch a ride behind a tractor out to the pupmkin patch. This was Dax's reaction This is Dax's reaction to all of the pumpkins around him. He likes orange!

Needless to say, he was pretty excited to get his own pumkin. It turned out to be a fun day for all of us!
