The ice cream man revisited our street. We decided to let Dax try something more colorful. We should have tasted it before giving it to him. It was pretty sour.
My in-laws were out of town for a few days and asked us to go pick from their garden. We couldn't let any of those delicious vegetables rot away out there, so we picked as many as we could!
The only problem was figuring out what to do with all of them!
First, I made some salsa. I've never attempted to do so until now, but it came out great! It was really simple too.
Then I decided to tackle the chocolate zucchini cupcake. My sister in-law actually gave me this idea when she attempted to make these a while back. After 'googling' around, and checking out some different recipe's, I came up with the perfect cupcake. They are to die for. So moist and full of chocolate goodness.
Dax didn't know what to think. He saw me put the zucchini in the batter, but couldn't taste it in the cupcake. He gave them a perfect 10. I don't know what I'd do without my little taste tester. :0)
My mother-in-law gave us this pool when they were cleaning out their basement. We are planning on using it after Daxton's nap. Until then it works as a good tent!
We have an ice cream truck that drives past us all of the time. Today I decided to stop him and get a treat for Dax. I don't know what he was more interested in... The 50/50 bar, or the truck it came out of... (that's what he is staring at the entire time he ate)
We went down to Thanksgiving Point in Lehi for 2$ Tuesday today. Dax went crazy over the dinosaur exhibit, but it was so crowded I didn't get a chance to take pictures. I did get pictures at their farm area though! It was really fun. I recommend it to anyone that's in the area!
