My Love/Hate Relationship with McDonalds

Centerville re-designed their McDonalds to be more user friendly. We LOVE it. They have a play place that is built around kids Daxton's age, which you don't find too often.

Today we headed down there with some family.

I figured it would be nice to let the little turkey run out all of his energy before his nap. {plus, it's right by Morgan's work, so I get to see him for a few minutes!}

Here is the downside... Every time we go there, he gets something... Not a good something... A sick something....

Last time is was the flu, this time.... a scratched eye... At least it's not something worse, right?

On that note, here are some cute photo's. It was hard to get any good ones, but I'll take what I can get.

His Favorite Book

Dax received 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' for his birthday. I've read it to him every day this week, and today, during our creative time, he insisted that I help him build a caterpillar out of play dough. When we were done he ran and grabbed the camera, then started to yell 'CHEESE!'

Family Night in The Van

I'm sure most of you know that Morgan's 1971 Volkswagen Van is his pride and joy. We've been looking forward to the warmer weather so we can take Dax for a ride! Unfortunately, this is how the trip began:

FINALLY, he decided it was pretty cool to cruise to McDonalds in Daddy's van!

Our Soccer Monster!

Most of you know that Dax is obsessed with Backyardigans.

There is one episode called 'Soccer Monster!" Ever since he saw it, he's begged for a soccer ball. We finally got him one for his birthday, and I decided to let him take it outside to enjoy this nice weather!

He's a natural! We'll have to get him on a team next year!

We've been having some bad weather lately. Today, there was a brief time where the sun was shinning, and I decided to take advantage of that opportunity. SO, after turning off the TV, and wrestling Dax into his pants, we made our way outside.

After some fun play time, I had to fight Dax to come inside for dinner. We can't wait for summer!!
