He sure loves his bath time...

Dax recently discovered he fits perfectly in the sink. He sits in there while we dry him off, and Morgan got a few cute pictures last night.

A Day at the Park

Me and Shawnee decided to take the boy to the park to give my mother in law some cute photo's of the boys together to put up in her new house. Hope you guys like them. Dax sure had a good time playing with his cousin.

He was so excited to be there!

It was near impossible to keep him on the slide once he saw the dirt

I finally gave up and let him play in the dirt

These last three are the 'Daxton Dance' Hope you enjoyed!

The things you can do with a cardboard box...

Here is the newest thing being played with in our house. Thanks to Morgan's patients and creativity. (sorry I didn't fix the red eye. He always gets that)

So sad, but still so cute!

Here are some photo's from our latest adventure. He just looked so stinken cute in the hospital gown before surgery. Sorry the quality is so bad. It's from a phone camera. It was hard to see him so happy when I knew what was about to happen.

Projects...

SO... Being a stay at home mom is fabulous. The only problem is it puts us on a tight budget. With Dax's birthday coming up, I decided to get creative. We just finished our first party decoration/favor. I think it came out great! Here it is step by step:

I started with an empty baby food jar and some fabric. I traced the lid onto the fabric, cut it out, and mod podged it on.(I love that stuff)

Next I printed a cute number one to go on top, and a small banner reading 'Happy Birthday Daxton' to glue along the side of the lid.

Finally I filled them with colorful goldfish crackers (since most of his friends are too small for candy) and skittles for the older people. I tied a ribbon around it and voila! Cute party favors. I couldn't have done it without Morgan! We debated on whether or not to put a character onto every jar (the theme is Sesame Street), but decided we just don't have the motivation!

**Check back to see our other homemade decorations; centerpieces made from formula cans, a birthday banner, and our attempt to make our own Elmo, Oscar, and Cookie Monster Cupcakes. **

Planes!

We took Dax up to the Hill Air Force Museum yesterday. He had a great time running around, but was more interested in the wheels on his stroller then the planes. :0)
