Home Sweet Home

We've finally managed to get all unpacked in our new place. Well, except for our bedroom. Dax has his own play corner in the living room, and loves it. His room is cute too. We put jungle stickers on the wall, and set up his crib finally. He sleeps much better, and I think we are all enjoying our new space.

Dear Baby

Dear Daxton,

I cannot believe you are already six months old! Time has been flying by. I wish you would slow down so we can enjoy you even more! I remember when you were first born... You were so tiny. You rarely cried. You looked just like Momma! We couldn't wait to take you home!

Once home, you just kept getting more personality. We loved spending time with you. You learned new things every day. Now you are rolling around everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if you started crawling soon. Me and Daddy love you soo much. You are starting to look more like Daddy, but still have some of Mommy's good looks. ;0) I can't wait to see you grow even more!

Love,
Mommy

Raspberries

Dax learned how to stick his tounge out from his day care teachers. Morgan taught him how to blow raspberries last night. It's really cute, but I think we might regret it.

The End of Summer

We spent Memorial Day at Morgan's Grandparents house for a BBQ. We're sad summer is coming to an end, but are excited for all of the winter clothes we get to put on Dax. Also, Dax had his first day in daycare. I was just in the other room, and got to pop in from time to time, so it wasn't too bad. :0)

Hello Grandpa!

Grandpa Andy and aunt Jackie came to visit us in Utah this weekend. We had a lot of fun playing games, and Dax has some new favorite people. We visited the Olympic park in Park City, Cabella's, and Antelope Island. Dax is going to miss his grandpa.

Yummy Watermelon!

We bought dax some mesh baby feeders to help him eat some fruit. We gave him one with watermelon in it yesterday and he LOVED it. These are a must for parents starting solids.

Cheap Entertainment

Daxton discovered the laundry basket. It is now his new favorite toy. He's becoming more mobile, so it's hard to keep him in one spot. We put him sitting up on the bed, turned around for two seconds and this is how we found him:

We went up to a motocross thing today to support one of Morgan's coworkers. It was a lot of fun, and dax got his first slushie.
