Dax is like a snow monster...

Why?

Mainly because he HATES getting ready for it... Today, I had to convince him that it was a horrible idea to go outside without pants on... The entire time I was putting on his snow suit he kept screaming, 'Stop! Ouch! It hurts! No!'

I almost threw in the towel. I just kept telling myself that he would have a great time, & possibly get worn out. I was right.

Morgan's Aunt came by with her kids, and Dax was so excited to have someone smaller to play with.

He even liked helping Morgan pull the sled with the four wheeler.

And there's nothing like warming up by the fire.

Those crazy kids had Morgan pull them like this through the yard...

This next picture is right about the time he threw in the towel, and decided to head inside to warm up!

I miss california... It's too cold here!

Finally! Some Snow!

The weather man said there would be a 30% chance of snow.

Me & Morgan shrugged it off. 30% is such a low chance. Plus, it's been in the 40-50's here. No way would it snow...

Luckily, we were wrong. We woke up this morning to a good 7 inches of snow!

We started our 'snow day' with Grandpa hooking up a large sled to the 4 wheeler. With a loooooong piece of rope.

Dax was SO excited. The whole time he was giggling, and telling me how cool it was.

Then, Grandpa taught him how to build a snowman...

And we discovered a new game. It's the, 'Throw a snowball & boo boo goes crazy and attacks it' game.

I love this kid. We were out there about an hour, then he decided he was too cold. Now, we are back indoors. Where it is nice and WARM!

Mr. Chuck E. Cheese

My sister in-law invited us to Chuck e cheese today. Wow. I didn't realize it would be so exhausting! But me & shawnee did kick butt at the whack-a-mole game!

Us shakin' our groove thing. Dax insisted I do it with him.

All he wanted to do was crash his car into the side rail.

This one is for my mom. Ski Ball :0)

Yeah... That's right. It got so serious, I had to kneel down!

Dax had no idea the mouse was behind him....

And who'd have thought, but my son & nephew are actually really good at air hockey!

Now we're home, and we are BOTH going to lay down for a nap!

'The Castle'

Earlier this week, Dax pointed to a picture of the Salt Lake Temple, and told his Grandpa that it was a castle. Grandpa Tim tried to correct him, but Daxton was sure it wasn't a temple. It was a castle.

So tonight, we joined some of the family, and headed down to see the amazing light display at the Salt Lake City Temple.

Want to play another round of 'Where's Daxton?' See if you can find him in the first picture...

They had a fun display with the whole story of Jesus' birth. Dax lasted a whopping two seconds with that one...

Morgan talked him into knocking on the temple door & to ask for santa...

And of course... where there is water, there is Daxton!

Grandpa & Grandma were so nice to buy him a cup of 'chocolate hot.'

It was the perfect end to a fun night!

Another Santa Trip

We headed up to Weber State today to attempt another santa photo.

I just thought it was too cute watching Will & Dax hold hands on the way in!

Ryker was soooooo happy. Even when we were waiting in line!

& Ta DA:

He wasn't interested in sitting on Santa's lap, but was ok standing next to him!

He even got to check out a few of Santa's reindeer!

The last picture told me that he was getting irritated with me yelling: 'Dax, turn around. Look at mommy! Say Cheesearoni!'

Overall it was a fun day! We just got home, and the kids asleep, so I'm going to go sneak in a quick nap!

O' Chritsmas Tree...

It took Dax a few times, but he managed to master the art of hanging ornaments on our tree!

Once we got him started.... it was hard to get him to stop!

He even got Morgan involved!

Special thanks to Tim & Anita for letting us use their old ornaments.

We Changed The Lights

We changed the lights in the box to some that flicker. Dax was flipping out over the colors! I know the pictures are kind of blurry, but still cute, right?
