$5 Slide + The Pool = GREAT IDEA!

Morgan had this genius idea to put the slide into the pool so Dax could use it as a water slide. It's things like this that make me extra happy I married him! Dax had a blast sliding down into the pool all morning!

Morgan's Dad decided to let Dax play with his remote control boat. Dax insisted on pulling it around the pool with the antenna, so here are all three of them trying to tie a string onto it:

Slip & Slide

I thought Dax would be terrified of this thing. I was so wrong.  He had a blast sliding back and forth for about an hour. We're inside taking a break, but he's already excited to head back out! Hope you like the pictures!

Just Some Fun Pics

Not much to say for these photos. We spend a few hours outside yesterday, and I thought these were cute. Captured some of Dax's personality.

We're busting out the slip and slide today, so hopefully I'll have some fun pics on here tomorrow!!

The Last 30 Minutes

For the last half hour, me and Morgan have taken turns pulling Dax around on a blanket. I'm affraid we've created a blanket racing monster!

Let Me Tell You A Story

Dax: Mom, chips pleas?

Me: hm... ok. What's the magic word?

*long pause*

Dax: Ask Daddy!

How is it that my two year old already knows he's got daddy wrapped around his finger?

On a side note, we set up his pool this morning, expecting it to warm up while Dax napped. When we woke up it was really windy. I almost decided to throw in the towel on the whole 'swimming' idea, but Dax talked me into it... We had about 15 minutes of pool time fun, and then it started to rain.

My Conceited Little Boy

One of Dax's favorite pass times is watching videos of himself. . .

If we're having a rough day, or he's really tired and grumpy, we'll bust out the video camera and play a few videos of him. He's so cute about it! He giggle's and laugh's at himself, and when he hears our voice in the video asking him a question, he answers!

He found the camera when we were cleaning out our room this morning, and we snapped a few cute pics:



The Zoo

My friend Beth invited us to the zoo today. I'm glad we went. The weather was perfect, and almost all of the animals were out. Oh, and then there was the fact that once I mentioned it to Dax, he was ECSTATIC!
